Anderson-Stall Worship Center Dedicated at Thornwell

July 23, 2025

A Sacred Space for Faith, Community, and Generations to Come

A milestone moment was celebrated last Thursday at Thornwell with the dedication of the newly revitalized Anderson-Stall Worship Center, a space that now stands as both a tribute to a family’s enduring legacy and a beacon for the future of Thornwell’s ministry.

Thanks to a transformational gift from the Anderson-Stall family, this cherished worship space has been lovingly restored, ensuring that it will continue to serve as a place for worship, prayer, celebration, and community for generations to come. The dedication ceremony marked not just the completion of a building project, but the continuation of a story deeply rooted in Thornwell’s history.

Willy Anderson, whose legacy of faith and generosity lives on through his family, was a longtime supporter of Thornwell and its mission to serve children and families. His connection to Thornwell’s ministry stretches back generations, with his family playing a vital role through faithful giving, active involvement, and steadfast prayer.

“It is in his memory, and through the continued support of his descendants, that we dedicate this worship center,” said Thornwell leadership during the dedication. “This space is more than bricks and mortar — it is a sanctuary where lives will be touched, faith will be nurtured, and the bonds of community will grow stronger.”

The Anderson-Stall Worship Center will now serve as a welcoming home for children, families, staff, and visitors who gather to share in the moments that matter — from worship services and prayer gatherings to special celebrations and quiet moments of reflection.

Thornwell expressed deep gratitude for the Anderson-Stall family’s ongoing investment in its mission and future. Their generosity ensures that the spiritual foundation of this ministry remains strong, offering hope and faith to those who walk through its doors now and for years to come.
