Hospice of Laurens County Seeks Donations for Welcome Baskets at Inpatient Unit

July 23, 2025

At Hospice of Laurens County, the little things truly make a big difference—especially for families facing life’s most tender moments.

Each time a patient is admitted to the Inpatient Unit (IPU) at the Hospice House, they and their loved ones are greeted with a simple but heartfelt welcome: a comfort basket filled with individually wrapped snacks, a bottle of water, and a note of love. This small gesture is designed to provide a touch of peace, kindness, and support during a time that is often filled with uncertainty and emotion.

To continue this meaningful tradition, Hospice of Laurens County is reaching out to the community for help replenishing its supply of snacks. The items most needed include:
• Crackers
• Granola bars
• Trail mix
• Candy
• Tea and coffee singles

All donations should be individually wrapped to ensure safety and ease of use.

Donation Drop-Off Location:
Hospice of Laurens County
1304 Springdale Drive
