PC Choir Announces 2026 “Sounds of the Alps” Tour
August 19, 2025The Presbyterian College Choir is preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime musical journey across Austria during Spring Break 2026 — and choir alumni are invited to join the adventure.
From March 6–14, 2026, the “Sounds of the Alps Choir Tour” will take singers from Salzburg’s charming historic streets to Vienna’s grand concert halls, where they will share their music in breathtaking European settings. Along the way, the group will explore the Alps, celebrate Mozart’s legacy, and immerse themselves in Austrian culture.
This exciting announcement comes on the heels of a milestone earlier this year, when the PC Choir, under the direction of Kipper Ackerman, took the stage at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City. That performance, which was featured in The Buzz, highlighted the choir’s talent, dedication, and national recognition. The Austria tour builds on that momentum, offering current students and alumni alike the chance to bring their music to an international audience.
“The performance at Carnegie Hall was such an exciting time for Presbyterian College and our choir family,” said Ackerman. “Now, we are thrilled to take the next step — sharing our voices in Austria, a country that has inspired generations of composers and performers.”
The tour is open to choir alumni as well as current members, making it a unique opportunity to reconnect, travel, and sing together in some of Europe’s most iconic venues.
