City of Laurens Launches “Talk of the Town” Forum with Mayor Senn
August 19, 2025Laurens residents are invited to a new opportunity to share their voices directly with city leadership through Talk of the Town, a pop-in forum designed to connect the community with Mayor Nathan Senn. The first session will take place on Friday, August 22, from 8:00–9:00 a.m. at Great Crepes & More in downtown Laurens.
The informal setting gives citizens a chance to ask questions, raise concerns, and share ideas about the issues that matter most to them. Whether discussing infrastructure, community development, or neighborhood improvements, the forum is designed to be open, casual, and accessible.
The initiative underscores the city’s commitment to creating more direct channels for conversation, ensuring residents feel heard and involved in shaping the future of Laurens. Talk of the Town is meant to provide a relaxed and welcoming space where citizens can exchange ideas and engage in dialogue with city leadership.
This event reflects the city’s broader effort to strengthen community engagement and foster transparent communication between residents and local government. Attendees are encouraged to stop by anytime during the hour to connect with the mayor and city staff.
