Colliers announces the promotions of Melissa Brewington and Brigette Walters

Colliers | South Carolina announced the promotions of Melissa Brewington and Brigette Walters within its accounting department in Columbia.

Melissa Brewington’s new role as REMS Accounting Manager includes the supervision of accounting staff that support the Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team and the company’s property management clients and ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures adopted by the company.

Brigette Walters has been promoted to Senior REMS Accountant. In this role, she is responsible for providing comprehensive accounting services for a diverse portfolio of assets managed by the company’s Real Estate Management Services team.

“Brigette’s promotion is a direct result of her strong attention to detail, reliability and commitment to excellence,” said Burgess. “We are excited to see her continue to grow in this new role.”

Brewington earned an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from Sampson Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Columbia College. Walters holds an Associate of Science in Business Accounting from Kaplan University.
