Columbia Metropolitan Airport introduces Experience CAE Guest Pass Program for non-traveling guests
September 10, 2025Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) announced the launch of the Experience CAE Guest Pass Program, a new initiative that grants non-traveling guests access the post-security area of the airport. This free program, launching this Monday, September 15, will be available to the public seven days a week between 4 a.m. and 8 p.m.
“The Experience CAE Guest Pass program makes Columbia Metropolitan Airport more accessible than ever before,” said Kim Crafton, Vice President of Marketing and Air Service Development. “Whether spending time at the gate with friends and family before a flight, admiring art in our soon to return Art in the Airport program, shopping, dining or simply sitting in one of our rocking chairs plane spotting, we look forward to welcoming in everyone to CAE.”
Guests can apply for a pass up to seven days in advance, with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Applicants will receive an email confirming whether their application has been approved or denied. Approved guests must present their Experience CAE Guest Pass and a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) approved ID to go through the security checkpoint.
All program participants are subjected to the same TSA security requirements and regulations as ticketed passengers. If security lines are long, priority will be granted to ticketed passengers, enabling them to board their flights promptly.
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can add up to two minors on their approved pass.
