Sam Herskovitz, Executive Director, The Boyd Innovation Center
The Boyd Innovation Center, powered by GrowCo (BIC) is a central hub for all high growth high tech (HGHT) startup activities in the Columbia metro region. The BIC serves as Columbia’s destination where forward-thinking individuals of all backgrounds come together to develop groundbreaking ideas that change the world. Meanwhile, GrowCo acts as the nonprofit organization that curates startup activities.
In late June 2025, the Boyd Innovation Center Board of Directors announced that Sam Herskovitz is its new Executive Director. Sam brings over a decade of experience leading enterprise SaaS products from startup to successful exit. As the first Product Manager at The Marcus Buckingham Company (TMBC), he helped grow its core technology platform, StandOut, into a global enterprise talent suite. He then played a key role in its 2017 acquisition by ADP. Sam subsequently served as Head of Product for StandOut and an expanded portfolio of ADP global talent products.
