Welcome Back, PC! Third Thursday Celebration Returns Sept. 18 in Downtown Clinton
September 15, 2025Mark your calendars: Downtown Clinton is gearing up for a festive night on Thursday, September 18, 2025, when the “Welcome Back, PC!” edition of Third Thursday kicks off again. The community-wide event begins at 5:00 p.m. and invites residents, students, and visitors to celebrate the return of Presbyterian College, enjoy great food and music, and support local business.
What to Expect

Live Music (7:00–9:00 p.m.) — Headlining the evening is Smokey Jones and the Three Dollar Pistols, bringing their unique sound for an outdoor concert.

Eat & Shop Starting at 5:00 p.m. — Food trucks and local vendors will offer a variety of bites, while Downtown shops open their doors for browsing and deals.

Fun for All Ages — Games and activities will be available for families and young people alike. A perfect way to mingle, relax, and get into the spirit.

This special Third Thursday concert is made possible through Self Regional Healthcare and organized in partnership with the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Clinton. As Graysen Martin, Communications & Marketing Coordinator for the Chamber, puts it: it’s a chance for the community to show its energy and pride—and make PC students feel welcome.
