Colliers brokers the sale of an 8,285-square-foot retail building in downtown Lexington to local cards and collectibles retailer

Grayson Greiner of Colliers | South Carolina brokered the sale of an approximately 8,285-square-foot retail and office building at 607 Columbia Avenue near downtown Lexington. Colliers represented the buyer, Palmetto Cards, in the transaction.

Palmetto Cards plans to upfit and relocate to a 3,072-square-foot suite, sharing the building with existing co-tenant Coldwell Banker.

Founded in November 2022, Palmetto Cards is a locally owned retailer specializing in sports cards and collectibles. Based in Lexington, South Carolina, the business serves a diverse community of collectors, offering a wide range of products including sports cards, Pokémon cards, memorabilia and other hobby-related items. Beyond traditional retail, the company is actively involved in live breaks, major card shows and autograph events featuring prominent athletes.

Currently located on Main Street in Lexington, the store will relocate to Columbia Avenue to meet growing demand and provide a more spacious, community-oriented environment with over double the size of its current space. With a strong focus on customer experience and hobby engagement, Palmetto Cards has established itself as one of the Southeast’s premier destinations for collectors.

The relocation aligns with broader improvements in Lexington’s downtown and the North Lake Drive–Columbia Avenue corridor, which are enhancing the area’s appeal to retail businesses. Infrastructure upgrades such as the Harmon Street Extension and Phase III enhancements toward Highway 378 are reducing congestion, improving safety and increasing visibility. Combined with updated zoning and strategic urban planning, these developments are creating a more accessible and attractive environment for retail growth.
