Talk of the Town Returns September 26 at Whiteford’s Giant Burger in Laurens

The City of Laurens is continuing its community engagement series with the next Talk of the Town forum on Friday, September 26, from 8:00–9:00 a.m. at Whiteford’s Giant Burger.

This pop-in style event offers residents a chance to sit down in a casual setting and share their ideas, concerns, and questions directly with city leadership. The goal of Talk of the Town is to provide an approachable space where open conversation can take place about the issues that matter most to the people of Laurens.

The initiative began in August at Great Crepes & More, where residents gathered for an informal discussion with the mayor. The September event will carry that same spirit of accessibility, giving attendees an opportunity to connect with local government while supporting a well-loved Laurens restaurant.

Community members are encouraged to drop by anytime during the hour to participate. No registration is required.
