Run Like a Mann Marks 15th Year with Successful Community Event

October 13, 2025

The Laurens County Cancer Association (LCCA) recently wrapped up its 15th Annual Run Like a Mann, celebrating another year of strong community support and participation. The event brought together runners, walkers, sponsors, and volunteers to raise funds that will directly support local individuals and families facing cancer.

This year’s event raised $34,000 and drew 42 runners, along with many walkers and supporters who came out to cheer them on. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, participants, volunteers, and community partners, the funds raised will help LCCA continue providing essential services and resources to cancer patients in Laurens County, ensuring that support remains close to home.

“We are so grateful for the incredible turnout and generosity from everyone involved,” said Anna Drew Miller, Executive Director of the Laurens County Cancer Association. “Run Like a Mann is more than just a race — it’s a powerful demonstration of community strength and care. These funds allow us to continue walking alongside our neighbors as they face one of life’s toughest challenges.”

Now in its 15th year, Run Like a Mann has become a meaningful local tradition, uniting people of all ages for a day of activity, remembrance, and hope. The Laurens County Cancer Association extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this year’s event such a success.
