Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd welcomes Katie Engels to the Columbia office

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A., is pleased to announce that Katherine “Katie” E. Engels has joined the firm as an associate in the Columbia office. She works with the firm’s Bankruptcy and Recovery Team, representing clients in collections, foreclosures, landlord-tenant disputes, commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters.
Katie has experience managing all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, enforcing judgments and pursuing post-judgment remedies. She previously practiced with a South Carolina-based business defense firm.
Katie earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Clemson University.
