Laurens County Republican Party Announces Upcoming Candidate Events
October 22, 2025The Laurens County Republican Party has announced two special events this fall, giving residents the opportunity to hear directly from key leaders and candidates in South Carolina’s 2026 governor’s race.
U.S. Congressman Ralph Norman, who has officially announced his candidacy for governor, will speak on Thursday, October 30, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at The Ridge, located on Exchange Club Drive in Laurens.
The following week, Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette, also a declared candidate for governor, will be the featured guest on Monday, November 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Laurens County Museum, where the event will include a special tribute in honor of Veterans Day.
“These events give voters the chance to hear firsthand from two respected leaders about their vision for South Carolina’s future,” said Valerie Jones, Chair of the Laurens County Republican Party. “Our goal is to help citizens stay informed and engaged as we approach the 2026 election cycle. We encourage everyone to come out, listen, and ask questions.”
