Help the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office Make Christmas Brighter for Local Families
November 16, 2025‘Tis the season for giving, and the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office is once again collecting toys and gifts to bring joy to children and families in need this Christmas.
Each year, deputies and community partners work together to ensure local children experience the magic of the holiday season. Donations of new, unwrapped toys are appreciated throughout the year and can be dropped off at the Sheriff’s Office during normal business hours.
In addition to toys, grocery store gift cards are also being accepted to help families with food and holiday essentials.
Deputy Courtney Snow, who coordinates the effort, shared that the most requested items each year include:
-
Hot Wheels tracks and cars
-
Barbies, baby dolls, and accessories
-
Learning and interactive toys (infants–3 years)
-
Board games, LEGOs, and remote-control cars
-
Sensory toys and “squish” stuffed animals
-
Sports items (bats, assorted balls)
-
Craft and DIY sets for boys and girls
-
Personal care items such as brushes, deodorant, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hair bows
“Together, we can make Christmas brighter for those in need,” said Deputy Snow. “Every donation—big or small—helps us share the joy of the season with local families.”
