Morse joins Morton & Gettys

LeAnne Burnett Morse, a long-time York County resident, has joined Morton & Gettys. Her practice will focus on probate litigation and family law.
Morse is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, where she earned Dean’s List honors. She was active in programs such as the Mock Trial Bar, the Pro Bono Program, and the Veterans Legal Clinic.
Additionally, she served as a law clerk at Morton & Gettys for two summers, assisting attorneys with research, document drafting, and preparation for negotiations and court appearances.
Morse turned to the law after a long and distinguished career in media production. She served as executive producer and writer for Bluestocking Media, LLC, leading projects for clients such as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the Carolina Panthers, Bank of America, and Hendrick Motorsports.
She also is a published author. Her books include “Bayles Mack: A Life in Politics, Business, and the Law,” a biography of the extraordinary career of this state and local leader, and “Images of America: Fort Mill” as part of a best-selling national series of American history books.
A 20-year resident of Fort Mill, she has served her community through organizations such as the Fort Mill Economic Partners and the Fort Mill Museum Board of Directors. She has also donated her talents to create historic tours of Fort Mill and to speak to civic and church groups about the town’s history.
