Broad Street UMC Hosts Christmas Market This Saturday

Broad Street United Methodist Church is gearing up for its annual Christmas Market, set for Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The festive indoor-and-outdoor market will feature more than 30 local vendors, offering a wide variety of handmade goods, holiday treats, and unique gift items just in time for the Christmas season.

Shoppers will find an impressive assortment of items, including fresh-baked breads and sweets, one-of-a-kind pottery, jewelry, hand-sewn gifts, homemade ornaments, fresh Christmas floral arrangements, yard sale items, pet products, freeze-dried treats, bath bombs, T-shirts, tumblers, “create your own” bead crafts, handmade brooms, and much more.

Outdoor vendors will add to the festive atmosphere with favorites such as funnel cakes, hot chocolate, smoothies, and deep-fried Oreos.

Inside the church, guests can enjoy a hot dog lunch at an unbeatable price: a two-hot-dog plate with chips and a drink for $7 or a one-hot-dog plate for $5.

The Christmas Market is a rain-or-shine event, and organizers encourage the community to stop by either before or after the parade on Saturday. All proceeds support the ongoing missions and ministries of Broad Street UMC.
