Ezekiel Ministries recognized as a “2025 Angel” Charity by South Carolina Secretary of State

December 4, 2025

Ezekiel Ministries has been named a 2025 Angel Charity by South Carolina Secretary of State Mark Hammond, earning one of the state’s top distinctions, now in its 26th year. The Secretary of State’s Angel Award recognizes South Carolina nonprofits that demonstrate exceptional commitment to serving their communities while maintaining strong financial transparency and prioritizing mission-driven spending.

“[We are] incredibly honored that, among 18,000 nonprofits in the state of SC, Ezekiel Ministries was chosen to be one of the 2025 Angel Awards,” said Christian Markle, Executive Director of Ezekiel Ministries. “We are incredibly passionate about being great stewards of every single dollar that we get.” He continued sharing that “it means the world that we have a community of donors who are willing to partner with us in this work because we cannot do it alone.”

The Angel Award recognizes nonprofits that devote at least 80% of expenditures to charitable programs, have operated for at least three years, rely primarily on volunteers rather than government grants, and maintain a strong presence in South Carolina while complying with all solicitation laws.
