Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands announces Christa Maier as new Director of Membership & Outreach

Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands announced the appointment of Christa Maier as the Director of Membership & Outreach. Based in the Greenville Office, Maier will spearhead efforts to grow and sustain the Girl Scout community across the council’s 22-county jurisdiction.

Maier will oversee the Community Development Managers and be responsible for implementing innovative membership and volunteer strategies, strengthening relationships with members and the community, and ensuring long-term engagement. Her role is central to integrating recruitment and retention efforts with program delivery and council-wide events to deliver exceptional outcomes for all members.

Maier brings more than 15 years of professional experience in designing and leading people-centered programs that foster engagement, belonging, and community impact, with expertise in operations, project management, and human resources.
