Local Author Brings Beloved Pomeranian’s True Adventures to Life in New Children’s Book

Adele Alducin of Cross Hill has turned a lifetime of cherished memories into a heartwarming children’s book inspired by a very special dog named Russell-T.

Russell-T, a Pomeranian adopted by Alducin’s twin sons when he was just nine months old, quickly became a beloved fixture in his neighborhood. Originally named “Rusty,” the small dog soon earned the name Russell-T thanks to his outsized personality, love of people, and fearless curiosity. Despite his size, Russell-T was known for taking himself on real-life adventures, strolling through familiar areas near home and visiting neighbors who came to know him well.

These were not imagined stories, but true moments that brought smiles wherever he went.

Russell-T lived a long and joyful life, passing away at the age of 17. His impact extended far beyond Alducin’s family. When it came time to say goodbye, more than 50 friends and neighbors gathered to celebrate his life—an uncommon tribute that reflected how deeply he was loved.

“For years, I said I would write a book about Russell-T and all the adventures he went on,” Alducin said. “Those stories stayed with me, and I finally sat down and put pen to paper.”

The result is The Adventures of Russell-T, a children’s book series based on true stories that highlight curiosity, kindness, and seeing the world with joy. The first release, The Adventures of Russell-T – Grocery Store, is published under Alducin’s creative brand, Delly Productions, which focuses on storytelling, art, and locally inspired projects.

The book is available for purchase online through Delly Productions’ website. Local residents in Clinton can also arrange pickup by messaging Delly Productions on Facebook.

What began as a small dog with a big personality has now become a story meant to inspire children and families—reminding readers that even the smallest adventurers can leave the biggest paw prints.
