Preserving Lake Greenwood to Host February Meeting Focused on Ware Shoals Dam Safety
January 21, 2026Preserving Lake Greenwood will hold its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 3, at Camp Fellowship, located at 457 Camp Fellowship Road in Waterloo. The meeting will take place in the main building entrance and is open to the public.
The featured guest speaker will be John Campbell Lake, who oversees the dam at Ware Shoals. Lake is expected to provide an update on current conditions at the dam, discuss what is being done to address concerns, and answer questions related to dam safety and prevention measures.
Preserving Lake Greenwood hosts informational meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m., with the exception of July. The meetings offer fellowship, light refreshments, and an opportunity for lake neighbors and advocates to connect and stay informed on issues impacting Lake Greenwood.
