Harbor Entrepreneur Center names 2026 board of directors
January 22, 2026The Harbor Entrepreneur Center (HEC), a nonprofit innovation hub supporting more than 100 businesses across the Lowcountry, announces its 2026 board of directors.
The appointment aligns with the HEC’s mission of fostering and advancing the Lowcountry’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, according to HEC Executive Director Grady Johnson. “The collective value of the 2026 directors in terms of expertise and industry knowledge, as well as their proven mentorship, positions the HEC for continued growth and support of the region’s entrepreneurs in all phases of their journey,” he says.
The 2026 HEC Board of Directors include:
- Chair: Jessica Munday: Founder of TRIO, a full-service marketing and communications agency and founding member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Charleston chapter
- Chair-Elect: Andy Seavers, CEO and cofounder of Case Status, a client engagement platform for law firms
- Immediate Past Chair: Ryan Fiorini, CEO and cofounder of Blinktbi, a biotech company pioneering blink reflex technology for detection and management of neurological disease
- Christina Lock: Founder and CEO of Catch Talent and Catch Federal, recruitment firms specializing in the tech sector and staffing solutions for government contractors
- Abby Leibowitz: CEO of Call Experts and founder of Abridged Solutions, specializing in telecommunications, virtual office, and call center management
- Amrish Macedo: CTO of Impulse Control, product architect and program manager
- Rebecca Ufkes: CEO and cofounder of UEC Electronics (1998-2015)
- Jeff Montgomery: Founder of Omatic Software, a database and data integration software company geared for nonprofits
- Brian Miller: Founder of Atlas Technologies, specializing in secure networking, cybersecurity, and mission-ready IT solutions for worldwide defense and government operations
- Pat Eardley: Founder and owner of Shift HR, an outsourced HR provider
- Willis Cantey: CEO of managed IT service provider Cantey Tech Consulting
- Toni Gilliard: CEO and founder of Resort Beverage Company
- Mike Compton: President and cofounder of RMBO Advertising and president of the Charleston American Marketing Association
- Tom Browning: Early-stage investor with VentureSouth, Queen City Angels, and H Venture Partners. Successfully started, grew, and exited two companies after an early career spent with Procter & Gamble and the Coca Cola Company
