Georgetown County announces closures and delays due to impending winter storm

Based on the current forecast for Winter Storm Gianna, Georgetown County Government offices and facilities will operate on a delayed schedule on Monday, Feb. 2, with all locations opening at 10 am.
In addition, the Georgetown Library will be closed all weekend. Other branches (excluding the Carvers Bay branch, which is still closed for renovations) will close at noon Saturday and remain closed until county offices reopen.
All Georgetown County recycling centers will close on Saturday at noon and remain closed until county offices reopen.
