HGTC resumes normal operations Wednesday following winter weather

Following continued monitoring of road conditions across the area and campus access, Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) will operate on a normal schedule Wednesday, with all campuses and services returning to standard operations.
In-person classes, clinical and clinical rotations, internships and preceptorships, on-campus services and College offices will resume as scheduled. Employees should report to work as normally scheduled, and students should attend classes and academic activities in person unless otherwise directed by their instructors.
College officials expressed appreciation for the flexibility, patience and cooperation shown by the HGTC community as the College navigated the impacts of the recent winter weather event. The safety of students, faculty and staff remains the College’s highest priority.
Students are reminded that registration remains open for Flex Start classes beginning Feb. 2 and March 5.
HGTC looks forward to welcoming students and employees back to campus as normal operations resume.
