New Parking Rates in Effect
Beginning Feb. 1, fees to park in City garages increased for the first time since 2020. The modest increase also includes a bonus for downtown visitors: an extra hour of free downtown parking! The previous “first hour free” for parking in all City-owned garages has expanded to include two hours of free parking.
New rates are:
- FIRST TWO HOURS FREE
- $6 – Third Hour
- $2 – Each Hour After
- $10 – Daily Max or Lost Ticket
- $10 – Event Parking
Parking administrator Bill Foster said the additional increases in event and monthly parking are necessary to generate the additional revenue needed to support long-term infrastructure investments in parking throughout the downtown area.
