Clinton Art Gallery Opens 2026 Exhibit Season with ART & SOUL This Thursday
February 9, 2026The Clinton Art Gallery will officially open its 2026 exhibition season this Thursday with ART & SOUL, a colorful and expressive showcase of abstract and non-representational art.
The public opening reception will take place Thursday evening, offering visitors an opportunity to view the exhibit, enjoy light refreshments, and hear a brief art talk. ART & SOUL will remain on display through mid-March, giving the community several weeks to experience the collection.
The exhibit features works from more than 15 artists, each presenting their own interpretation of abstract art through creative use of color, shape, and texture. The collection reflects a wide range of styles and perspectives, inviting viewers to engage with art that emphasizes emotion, movement, and visual impact rather than traditional subject matter. Artwork on display will be available for purchase throughout the exhibit.
Gallery Director Jeannie Browning has noted that the exhibit was selected to encourage visitors and collectors to explore abstract art as a meaningful and accessible form of expression, particularly as décor for homes and offices.
The Clinton Art Gallery is located at 113 North Broad Street in downtown Clinton. The community is invited to attend the opening reception and visit the gallery during regular hours while ART & SOUL is on display.
