College of Charleston expands EPIC Scholars Program with Florence-Darlington Technical College
February 24, 2026The College of Charleston has announced a new partnership with Florence-Darlington Technical College through its EPIC Scholars program, creating streamlined transfer pathways for students pursuing associate degrees in Accounting (AAS), Management (AAS), and Marketing (AAS).
This collaboration provides guaranteed admission, tuition discounts, a $2,500 financial grant and credit transfers into the College’s online Bachelor of Professional Studies program, helping students complete their degrees and advance in South Carolina’s workforce.
“Our partnership with Florence-Darlington Technical College reflects our commitment to student access and success,” said Suzanne Austin, executive vice president for Academic Affairs and provost at the College of Charleston. “By creating clear pathways for students to continue their education, together we are strengthening the workforce and opening doors to opportunity across the state.”
The partnership will be reviewed annually to ensure alignment with workforce needs and academic standards.
“We are proud to partner with the College of Charleston to provide our students a clear, affordable pathway to continue their education without losing momentum,” said Rhonda Johns, interim vice president of academic affairs at Florence-Darlington Technical College. “This agreement removes barriers to transfer and helps our students move seamlessly from associate to bachelor’s degrees with real career impact.”
