Carolina Ballet Theatre steps into a new era as Ballet Greenville

This evolution marks a moment of pride, momentum, and clarity, honoring a storied legacy while embracing a future that reflects both artistic ambition and the city it represents. Guided by a vision of a thriving Greenville where culture is enjoyed by all, Ballet Greenville continues its commitment to enriching the community through the power of dance.

As one of the largest professional dance companies in South Carolina, Ballet Greenville has long been a cultural cornerstone of the Upstate. As the resident professional dance company of the Peace Center for the Performing Arts, the organization plays a defining role in Greenville’s flourishing arts landscape. The rebrand signals alignment with a city that has grown into a nationally recognized destination for creativity, culture, and performance.

While the name and visual identity have evolved, Ballet Greenville’s purpose remains steadfast. The organization’s mission is to create experiences using the medium of dance to educate and entertain, bringing stories to life and fostering a community of joy. Under the continued leadership of Executive Director Roberta Phillips and Artistic Director Hernan Justo, Ballet Greenville is poised to expand its visibility, deepen community connection, and continue delivering performances rooted in excellence.
