Blue Granite announces Bruce Haas as Director of Operations for Midlands region
February 25, 2026Blue Granite Water Company announced that Bruce Haas has been named Director of Operations for its Midlands region, reinforcing the company’s continued commitment to reliable, compliant, and safe water and wastewater service across central South Carolina.
In this role, Haas will oversee Blue Granite’s water and wastewater operations throughout the Midlands, providing leadership across treatment facilities, collection and distribution systems, regulatory compliance, and field operations. He will work closely with operations teams to ensure service reliability, infrastructure stewardship, and continued investment in system improvements that benefit customers.
Haas brings extensive experience in utility operations and team leadership, with a background in managing complex systems, supporting capital projects, and maintaining compliance with state and federal environmental regulations. His operational expertise and familiarity with South Carolina’s regulatory environment position him to support Blue Granite’s long-term infrastructure planning and operational performance in the Midlands.
