Laurens County Citizens for Land Use and Zoning Task Force to Meet February 26
February 25, 2026The Laurens County Citizens for Land Use and Zoning Task Force will hold its next meeting on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Complex East, located at 105 Bolt Drive in Laurens.
The meeting will be led by Chairman Bell and will include routine business items such as approval of the agenda and minutes, as well as discussion of ongoing task force initiatives related to land use and zoning in Laurens County.
Vice-Chairman Garrison will deliver the invocation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
A key item on the agenda is a guest presentation by Blake Sanders, who will speak on the topic of precinct zoning — an issue of growing interest as the county continues to evaluate development, growth management, and community planning strategies.
Under old business, members will discuss a planned presentation to Laurens County Council regarding the task force’s recommendations and progress.
The meeting will also include a public comment period, providing residents an opportunity to share input, concerns, or perspectives on land use and zoning matters affecting the county.
The meeting is open to the public.
