Cohn Construction completes Rio Tinto’s gold mine closure facility

Cohn Construction has completed a new 10,200 SF office and warehouse facility for RioTinto in Ridgeway, South Carolina.
Designed to support the mine closure efforts required by environmental regulations, the building includes a lab, warehouse, equipment shop and storage space, and support offices. The warehouse features enhanced ventilation and radiant heating to allow for long term equipment storage and service.
With a modern aesthetic that combines both form and function, the building showcases Cohn Construction’s collaboration with RioTinto and their commitment to delivering high-quality facilities that support operational performance.
