Greenville Together releases 2025 Impact Report, exceeds housing goal
February 26, 2026One year ago, Greenville Together set a bold goal: move 80 households from homelessness into permanent housing. Today, the initiative released its 2025 Impact Report, highlighting what happens when a community decides to act. The goal was not only met, it was surpassed.
In 2025, 90 households – 154 people – moved home. Another 40 households are currently in the pipeline and are expected to be housed in just a few short weeks.
But the true impact goes far beyond a number.
Among those housed were 23 children under the age of 10, with participants ranging from just three weeks old to seniors in their 70s. One neighbor had experienced homelessness for more than a decade before finally receiving keys to a place of his own this year.
A family of five who had been living in their car with their three-week-old baby who had recently been discharged from the NICU is now in stable housing.
The 2025 Impact Report reflects more than progress; it reflects what’s possible when Greenville chooses coordination over fragmentation and action over hesitation.
Through its Welcome Home Wednesdays series, Greenville Together continues to highlight the neighbors behind the numbers, sharing stories that show the impact extending well beyond 2025.
Because behind every number is a name and this work is far from finished.
