Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo now open

Encompass Health announced the opening of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo, a 49-bed inpatient facility that is now accepting patients. The 53,000-square-foot hospital provides rehabilitation services for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic conditions, with at least three hours of therapy five days per week, physician oversight and 24-hour nursing care.
The facility includes 49 private rooms, therapy and daily living suites, an in-house dialysis suite, pharmacy, dining room and courtyard. The Irmo hospital is the company’s 11th location in South Carolina.
