Georgetown Historical Society to host annual Cattails and Cocktails fundraiser

The Georgetown Historical Society is hosting its annual Cattails and Cocktails fundraiser on Saturday, March 21 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at the Bobby Alford Pavilion at East Bay Park, with proceeds benefiting the Georgetown County Museum.
The event features Lowcountry cuisine prepared by local volunteer hunters and fishermen, a retriever demonstration, “Turkey Talk” with turkey calls, and local historian Lee Brockington will lead a lecture and discussion about the rice culture. In addition, there will be live music and a silent auction.
Tickets are on sale at the museum (120 Broad Street): $30 for museum members and $35 for non-members and at the door. A cash bar will also be available.
