Win big & get fit in Mt Pleasant this March

March 5, 2026

The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) and the Town of Mount Pleasant celebrate the fifth annual “Get Fit Where You Live” campaign. This month long initiative invites residents to prioritize their health while championing the local gyms, studios and wellness centers that keep the community thriving.

The 2026 campaign officially kicks off on March 4 and runs through April 1.

“Reaching our fifth year with this program is a testament to the strength of our community,” stated Mayor Will Haynie. “The Town is proud to continue this partnership with the Chamber. When we choose to ‘Get Fit Where You Live,’ we aren’t just investing in our own longevity, we’re investing in the friends and neighbors who own these local businesses.”

By keeping workouts local, residents help circulate dollars back into the Mount Pleasant economy. To sweeten the sweat, the Chamber is giving away a $50 gift card every week to a local health and wellness business.

To participate and win the weekly giveaway, residents can head to the Chamber’s Instagram (@mtpchamber) and:

  1. Follow & Like any “Get Fit Where You Live” post on Instagram.

  2. Tag a participating local business where you love to get active.

  3. Mention two friends you want to bring along for the journey.

“The MPCC is thrilled to celebrate five years of partnering with the Town on this initiative,” remarked MPCC President Benjamin Nesvold. “Our community continues to attract world class wellness options. This is the perfect excuse to step out of your comfort zone, try that new yoga flow, visit a local nutritionist, or join a new HIIT class and see firsthand why Mount Pleasant is such a vibrant place to live, work and play.”
