Vendors and Food Trucks Invited to Participate in Love Like Maddie’s 3rd Annual Family Fun Day at Lake Rabon Park
March 10, 2026Local vendors and food trucks are invited to be part of a growing community tradition as Love Like Maddie prepares for its 3rd Annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Lake Rabon Park in Laurens County.
The family-centered event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a 5K Run/Walk kicking off the day from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Organizers say the event is designed to bring families together for a day of fun, connection, and community support.
Vendor registration is now open for food trucks, boutique and handmade vendors, local businesses, and organizations offering family-friendly products and services. Space is limited, and organizers are encouraging interested vendors to apply early. The deadline to register is March 29, 2026.
Hosted by the nonprofit Love Like Maddie, the event has quickly become a meaningful gathering for families across Laurens County and surrounding communities.
The Story Behind Love Like Maddie
Love Like Maddie was founded in memory of Maddie Hines, whose life left a lasting impact on her family and community. In the face of profound loss, Maddie’s family chose to honor her legacy by creating opportunities to bring people together, encourage kindness, and support families in the community.
The organization’s mission centers on living out the compassion and generosity that defined Maddie’s life — encouraging others to “love like Maddie” by serving and uplifting those around them.
The Family Fun Day was created as a way to celebrate community while raising awareness for the organization’s mission. What began as a small gathering has grown each year, drawing more families, runners, and local businesses who want to be part of a positive and uplifting day.
A Growing Community Event
In addition to the 5K and vendor marketplace, Family Fun Day will feature food, activities for children, and opportunities for families to spend time together outdoors at Lake Rabon Park.
Organizers say the participation of local businesses and vendors plays a key role in creating the welcoming, community-centered atmosphere the event is known for.
