Brookgreen Gardens to host 6th Annual Spring Wine Festival in April
March 10, 2026Brookgreen Gardens will host its 6th Annual Spring Wine Festival in the Gardens on Saturday, April 25, offering an afternoon of tastings and live entertainment set against the backdrop of the historic sculpture gardens.
The event, which runs from 1 pm to 4 pm, will be centered around the Fountain of the Muses and Pegasus Lawn. Organizers say the festival is designed to celebrate the season with a blend of viticulture, local culinary offerings, and live music.
“Enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting, live music, and mouthwatering dishes from local food trucks,” the organization stated. “Bring a chair and enjoy the beauty of Brookgreen Gardens.”
Ticket Tiers and Access
The festival offers two levels of attendance. General admission tickets are priced at $60 for members and $70 for non-members. These tickets include:
- 10 wine tasting tickets.
- A commemorative wine-tasting glass.
- Exclusive access to the Purdy Welcome Center and Conservatory Gardens, which will be closed to the general public during the event.
For those seeking an upgraded experience, a VIP ticket is available for $165. VIP guests receive early admission at 12:30 pm for a private tour of the new welcome center, followed by access to a private premium wine bar and charcuterie spread on the Conservatory Veranda.
Event Logistics
The festival is strictly for guests aged 21 and older. While food and dessert trucks will be on-site, the organization notes that only VIP ticket holders are guaranteed seating; general admission guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
In addition to the tastings, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase featured wines at a discounted rate during the event. Refreshing beers will also be available for purchase.
Proceeds from the event benefit The Campaign for the Next Generation, a fund dedicated to the future growth and conservation efforts of Brookgreen Gardens. Tickets are non-refundable and can be purchased through the official Brookgreen Gardens website.
