Hidden Gems for Cello & Piano to Be Featured at Classical Concert at Martha Franks

Residents and guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon of classical music at the Rasor Chapel at Martha Franks Retirement Community with a special concert featuring Dr. Richard Thomas and Andrew Sheffield.

The concert, titled “Hidden Gems for Cello & Piano,” will take place on Friday, March 20 at 2:00 p.m. and will highlight beautiful and lesser-known works written for cello and piano. The performance promises an engaging musical experience for both longtime classical music enthusiasts and those simply looking to enjoy an afternoon of live music.

Dr. Thomas and Sheffield will present a program designed to showcase the expressive range and depth of the cello paired with the elegance of piano accompaniment, bringing attention to pieces that are often overlooked but rich in musical artistry.
