Upcoming community meeting for the Imperial Drive water line project

Berkeley County Water and Sanitation will hold a community meeting on the Imperial Drive Water Line Project at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31 at St. Matthews Baptist Church, located at 1143 Imperial Drive in St. Stephen.
This project will extend the existing water main located on Halter Drive. It also includes the installation of six‑ and eight‑inch water lines on Imperial Drive, Deer Point Drive and North Highway 52 in St. Stephen.
Construction is expected to begin April 6, 2026, with an anticipated completion date of January 2027.
County Council approved awarding the project to Williams Infrastructure LLC at its February 9 meeting.
