19th Annual Race for the Inlet 5k Fun Run scheduled for April 4

Murrells Inlet 2020 will host their 19th Annual Race for the Inlet 5k on Saturday, April 4th, beginning at 8:00 am at Morse Park.  Both runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate!  

The Murrells Inlet 2020 Race for the Inlet is a family-friendly staple for the Inlet. Visitors and locals enjoy the scenery and  camaraderie, all while supporting our local community! The 2025 event had over 600 attendees. 

Registration is now open and includes entry into the race with a chipped bib, a swag bag full of goodies from our sponsors, an  official race t-shirt, and a complimentary Grab-N-Go breakfast. An awards ceremony will follow the event at Morse Park. Registration is $35 per person.  

The proceeds from the event benefit Murrells Inlet 2020, a community revitalization organization focused on the conservation  of our natural environment while fostering local community and commerce.

The Mission of Murrells Inlet 2020 is to promote the conservation of our natural environment while fostering local community and  commerce. MI2020 is a non-profit organization formed in 1997 for the betterment of our community.
