Turn90 is a nonprofit social enterprise with locations in Charleston, Columbia and Spartanburg. It provides paid transitional employment, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and coaching for men returning from prison. Since launching in 2012, Turn90 has served more than 650 men across its centers, with nearly half transitioning into full-time, unsubsidized employment. Participants also demonstrate strong employment retention, with over 75% still employed at 6 months.
In 2024, Turn90 expanded its earned-revenue model through Turn90 Industrial Services. This division provides outsourced light manufacturing support — including assembly, kitting, packaging, rework, and quality control — while serving as a structured workforce development platform. The goal is to create reliable, scalable partnerships with manufacturers while building long-term workforce stability in our region. Successful partnerships include AFL Global, Allegiance Flag, and Smithey Ironware.
