Mavericks in Training: Mauldin High and Local Partners Reveal 2026 Summer Camp Lineup

March 30, 2026

As the school year winds down, the “Mav Land” community is gearing up for a summer of skill-building and spirit. Mauldin High School (MHS) has released its official roster of youth summer camps, offering elementary and middle school students a chance to train with varsity coaches and athletes on the same fields and courts where the Mavericks compete.

Whether your child is an aspiring athlete, a budding performer, or a future leader, this year’s lineup has something for every young “Future Mav.”

MHS Varsity Athletics Youth Camps

The MHS athletic department is hosting several sport-specific camps designed to teach fundamentals in a high-energy environment. Most camps are held on the MHS campus and require pre-registration through the school’s online portal.

The season kicks off the first week of June with Mauldin Baseball Youth Camp for K-6th graders and Mauldin Girls Tennis Camp, both running June 1–4. That same week, the Youth Volleyball Camp will be in full swing in the MHS gym from June 1–3.

As the month continues, the Kiddie Cheer Camp (June 8–11) offers a chance for younger students to learn routines from the MHS cheerleaders, followed by the Basketball Youth Camp later in the month from June 22–25.

July brings even more opportunities, starting with Youth Soccer Camp from July 6–9. For older students, the Middle School Baseball Camp (July 13–16) provides advanced positional training for 7th and 8th graders. The athletic summer wraps up with the Mini Mavettes Dance Camp for ages 4–12, running July 27–30.

Performing Arts and Enrichment

For students looking to shine on stage rather than the field, the Mauldin Cultural Center is partnering with the youth community to offer several theatre-intensive programs:

Broadway Beginner Camp (Ages 6–11): June 1–5. An introduction to theatre through games and improv.

Leading Player Intensive (Ages 12–17): June 1–12. A two-week deep dive into auditioning and performance techniques.

“Lion King Jr.” Production Camp: July 6–18. Students will rehearse and perform a full “Junior” musical production.

Leadership Opportunities for MHS Students
It’s not just for the younger kids—Mauldin High juniors and seniors have several prestigious summer leadership programs available. Deadlines are approaching fast for the following:

4-H Pinckney Leadership Conference: Hosted at Clemson University for rising 10th and 11th graders.

SC Business Week (July 19–24): A week-long immersion into entrepreneurship at the USC Darla Moore School of Business.

Registration Information
Parents are encouraged to visit the Mauldin High School website or the Mauldin Cultural Center page for direct registration links and payment details. Early bird discounts are available for several of the theatre programs if booked by April 5.

For general all-day childcare needs, the Mauldin Sports Center also offers a full Summer Day Camp (Ages 6–12) running from May 26 through August 7, featuring weekly themes and field trips.
