Chamber Hiring Keep Laurens County Beautiful Coordinator as Stonell Moves into Full-Time Tourism Role

The Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Foundation is now accepting applications for a full-time Keep Laurens County Beautiful (KLCB) Affiliate Coordinator, following the transition of Courtney Stonell into her role as full-time Director of Tourism.
Stonell, who previously served in the KLCB coordinator role, helped lead efforts in litter prevention, beautification, grant funding, and community engagement across Laurens County. With her shift to focusing full-time on tourism, the Chamber is seeking a new leader to continue that work and build on its momentum.
The KLCB Coordinator will oversee countywide initiatives focused on litter prevention, recycling education, and community beautification. Responsibilities include managing volunteers, coordinating cleanup events, developing partnerships with local schools, businesses, and municipalities, and leading fundraising and grant efforts. The role also works with partners such as PalmettoPride and Keep America Beautiful.
The position is full-time, with office hours Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., along with some evening events and four Saturday cleanups each year.
