College of Charleston MBA programs earn national recognition in U.S. News ranking
April 7, 2026The College of Charleston School of Business is home to two nationally ranked MBA programs, according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2026 Best Graduate Schools ranking.
The College’s one-year, full-time MBA program ranks No. 83 on the 2026 Best Business Rankings (full-time MBA rankings), a five-spot improvement from last year. Known for its high-touch approach and access to the Charleston business community, the program enables students to fast-track their way to an MBA, allowing them to spend less time away from the workforce.

“These recent rankings reflect the strength of our MBA programs and the positive outcomes our students are seeing,” says Paul Schwager, dean of the College of Charleston School of Business. “They also highlight a collaborative learning environment shaped by committed students, engaged faculty and meaningful employer and alumni connections.”
In addition to the School of Business’s recognition, the College of Charleston’s Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) program was also named among the nation’s best in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Public Affairs Schools rankings, reflecting the College’s broader strength across graduate programs.
