Join Us for the 34th Annual Spring Tide Community Clean Up & Chowder Cookoff

April 8, 2026

Murrells Inlet 2020 is excited to host the 34th Annual Spring Tide Community Clean Up & Chowder Cookoff on Sunday, May 3, and everyone is invited to take part in this fun, family‑friendly tradition.

The day kicks off at 10:00 a.m. at Morse Park Landing, where volunteers will receive clean‑up supplies before heading out to collect trash from the waterway, nearby roadsides, and surrounding areas. Every helping hand makes a difference in protecting the natural beauty and health of the Inlet.

After the clean‑up, volunteers are treated to a well‑deserved celebration at the Hot Fish Club, featuring a lively chowder cookoff with delicious entries from local restaurants. The festivities continue with food from Danny’s BBQ, live music, and refreshing libations.

No advance sign‑up is required—just show up at Morse Park Landing at 10:00 a.m. on May 3 to grab your supplies and get started. To support our sustainability efforts, please bring a reusable water bottle as we work together to make this year’s event greener than ever.

Thanks to our amazing volunteers, more than 10,000 pounds of trash were removed in 2025. Let’s work together again to collect as much as we can and keep Murrells Inlet beautiful and healthy for generations to come.
