Laurens County First Steps to Host Free Child Abuse Prevention Community Event at The Ridge

Laurens County First Steps is inviting the community to come together in support of children and families during its upcoming Abuse Prevention & Celebrating Safe Children Free Community Event on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Ridge, 301 Exchange Road in Laurens.

Held in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, the event aims to raise awareness about child abuse prevention while celebrating the importance of creating safe, healthy environments for children throughout Laurens County.

The free, family-friendly event will feature a variety of activities and resources for attendees, including:

Laurens County First Steps is encouraging families, businesses, and community partners to attend and help shine a light on the importance of child abuse prevention.
