With the rapid acceleration of artificial intelligence (AI) reshaping nearly every industry, Charleston Digital is recognizing the growing need for education that cuts through the noise. Through the Charleston Learning Center, the organization’s goal is to provide the community with knowledge and tools that build confidence, reduce confusion, and empower individuals across roles and industries to prepare for the future of work.
A key starting point for residents in the Tri-county region is the Google AI Essentials Career Certificate, which is available free of charge through a community grant from Google. The self-paced, online course is designed to introduce participants to foundational AI concepts and practical applications.
Charleston Digital has also announced a new AI Series titled “Collaborating with Agents.” The three-part workshop series, consisting of one-hour sessions, will cover how modern AI systems work, techniques such as reverse prompting to improve outcomes, the creation of reusable agent skills, and the design of multi-agent workflows to break complex tasks into manageable steps. The series emphasizes practical mental models, live demonstrations, and repeatable strategies that participants can apply across product, design, operations, and software workflows.
In addition to these offerings, Charleston Digital is working with experts within its community to develop more advanced, high-level AI classes and workshops. With support from organizations such as Google and Comcast, the organization continues its efforts to expand access to meaningful educational programming for the Charleston community.
