Experience the Magic: Art After Hours returns to Brookgreen Gardens

This spring, the sculptures at Brookgreen Gardens are bathed in a whole new light. They are thrilled to announce the return of Art After Hours, offering you the rare opportunity to experience our world-renowned gardens and galleries as the sun sets over the Lowcountry.
Starting April 15 through May 23, 2026, Brookgreen Gardens will extend its hours until 8:00 PM every Wednesday and Saturday. Whether you’re looking for a romantic date night or a peaceful evening stroll, these extended hours provide the perfect backdrop to enjoy art under a blooming spring sky. 
What to Expect
While the Lowcountry Zoo follows its usual schedule (closing at 5:00 pm), the heart of the gardens remains open for your evening exploration.
Galleries & Shopping: The Rosen and Jennewein Galleries will remain open for late-night viewing, and the Keepsakes Gift Shop will be available for those looking to take a piece of Brookgreen home.
Dining at Harvest: Complete your evening with a delicious meal at Harvest Restaurant, which will be serving dinner from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. We highly recommend making a reservation in advance to secure your table!
Garden Twilight: Explore the winding paths and towering oaks until dusk. Please note that the gates will close at 7:45 pm to allow guests to exit by 8:00 pm.
Admission is free for Brookgreen members, and it’s included with Garden Admission for non-members. Don’t miss this chance to see the gardens in their full spring glory during the “golden hour.”
