Seasoned commercial real estate professional Jay Mottley joins NAI The Litchfield Company

NAI The Litchfield Company is pleased to announce the addition of Jay Mottley to its commercial real estate team.

Jay Mottley is a commercial real estate executive, developer, and investor with extensive experience in industrial, manufacturing, and land development projects. He previously founded and led Mottley Group, LLC, a commercial real estate development and property management firm that built and managed a diversified portfolio of commercial properties valued at approximately $6.4 million and generating over $2 million in annual revenue. His work has included land acquisition, zoning and entitlement approvals, design-build construction oversight, leasing strategy, and long-term asset management across commercial, industrial, and pad site developments.

In addition to his real estate development background, Jay has held senior leadership roles with global industrial companies including Ingersoll-Rand, Atlas Copco, and Gardner Denver, working closely with manufacturing, municipal, and infrastructure-driven operations. This experience provides him with unique insight into industrial facility requirements, utilities, energy systems, and logistics planning, allowing him to evaluate commercial and industrial real estate opportunities with a strong operational perspective.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Science from Allegheny College, completed executive studies at MIT Sloan School of Management, and recently completed the South Carolina Real Estate Sales Associate program.
