Pinnacle Bank Celebrates Grand Opening of New Mauldin Office with Community Focus

April 20, 2026

Pinnacle Financial Partners officially opened the doors to its new Mauldin office this week, welcoming community leaders, clients, and partners for a ribbon-cutting celebration that highlighted both growth and a deep commitment to the Upstate.

The new space, located along East Butler Road, represents more than just expansion—it reflects Pinnacle’s continued investment in relationships, resources, and the communities it serves across the Golden Strip and beyond.

Pinnacle Financial Partners Regional President for South Carolina’s Upstate, Will Hodge, emphasized that the new office brings together a full spectrum of banking services under one roof, including business banking, retail services, and Small Business Administration (SBA) support.

“We’ve built a team here in Greenville that’s focused on helping our customers and supporting our community,” said Hodge. “This office gives us another resource to do just that—whether it’s working with business owners, supporting educators, or investing in workforce development.”

A key theme of the event was Pinnacle’s commitment to workforce development, particularly through partnerships with local education programs. During the ceremony, the bank presented a donation to the Golden Strip Career Center, recognizing its role in preparing the next generation of skilled workers.

Hodge noted that conversations with local businesses consistently point to the need for skilled employees, making initiatives like those at the career center especially important.

“We’re hearing from our clients every day about the need for skilled workers,” Hodge said. “Supporting programs like the Golden Strip Career Center is one way we can help strengthen the pipeline and invest in the future of this community.”

The new office also comes on the heels of Pinnacle’s recent acquisition of Synovus Bank, a move that significantly expands the bank’s footprint across the Southeast. With operations now stretching from Maryland to Miami to Memphis, Pinnacle has grown it’s presence in South Carolina to 52 branches and nearly $1 billion in deposits in the Upstate alone.

In 2025 Pinnacle was named the Top Workplace in South Carolina for the fifth consecutive year.   “We will continue to be the best workplace in the state of South Carolina which will only enhance the experience for our clients and communities”

Local leadership echoed that sentiment, noting the importance of the Mauldin location as both a financial hub and a community partner.

“This new office is a reflection of Pinnacle’s commitment to the Golden Strip—building relationships, supporting local businesses, and showing up in meaningful ways,” said Ozzy Custodio, Senior Vice President and Office Leader. “We’re proud to be part of this community and excited to continue growing alongside it.”

Attendees also heard appreciation for the many partners who helped bring the project to life, including city officials, development teams, and Pinnacle associates who contributed to the design and launch of the new space.

As guests toured the modern facility and gathered for the celebration, the message was clear: Pinnacle’s newest location is not just a place to do business—it’s a place built to serve, connect, and invest in the future of the Golden Strip community.
