United Way of Greenville County names Kelsey Camarena Vice President of Corporate Engagement
April 21, 2026United Way of Greenville County has named Kelsey Camarena as its new Vice President of Corporate Engagement, strengthening the organization’s leadership team with a seasoned nonprofit executive whose career has focused on strategic philanthropy, corporate partnerships, and community impact.
Camarena brings more than a decade of experience helping nonprofit organizations grow revenue, deepen donor engagement, and build partnerships that align philanthropic investment with community priorities. In her role at United Way of Greenville County, she will lead corporate partnership strategy, workplace giving campaigns, and collaborative efforts that connect business leadership with opportunities to create lasting local impact.
“Kelsey is an accomplished leader with a strong record of building authentic partnerships and advancing meaningful results,” said Meghan Barp, president and CEO of United Way of Greenville County. “She understands how to connect the interests of companies, donors, and community stakeholders in ways that create real value for everyone involved. We are excited to welcome her to our team and confident she will help expand the impact of our corporate engagement efforts.”
Before joining United Way of Greenville County, Camarena served as Chief Philanthropy Officer at United Way of the Greater Triangle in North Carolina, where she led strategy across corporate, foundation, and individual giving, supported revenue diversification, and helped advance regional partnership development.
Earlier in her career, Camarena held several leadership roles with United Way of Forsyth County and United Way of Roanoke Valley.
Originally from Galax, Virginia, Camarena is passionate about building authentic partnerships and creating environments where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to be themselves. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Roanoke College.
